Quite expensive (even compared to Frankfurt prices), poor service, two dishes sold out at around 2 p.m., bread side dish was lost. That can happen, but no apology and new bread after> 15 min. Great view and location compensate for the otherwise rather bad experience

Great service, delicious food. The problem, guests who are impatient, but the service remains nice. The young lady in service was top friendly. We'll be back with the whole family.

In Corona times, you are asked in many places to register at the entrance of a restaurant and wait for the waiter. We followed that. When the waiter still did not react after 12 minutes and gave no sign that he would come to us soon, we left. Great staff, we would love to come back.

Food: 4 (schnitzel bland, fried potatoes not tasty; children's plate of pasta much too hot, salad plate good) Service: 4 (It took too long for the food to arrive; there was no response at all to the request for a cool pack or the like due to nosebleeds.) Positive: Nice view over the Rhine (but there are many places nearby too) Negative: It smelled strongly of sewer here today that it was difficult to eat. It remained unclear where the unpleasant smell came from, but it was an absolute impertinence, which led to a significant devaluation in the evaluation. Very nice view, however, the map on site differs from the map on the website. This is of course a disaster for allergy sufferers and this was not pointed out when making the reservation. In times of Corona no disinfection dispensers were to be seen, the mask up to the table was not worn by many, the tables were not wiped after the guests left. The food is too expensive .. 14.50 euros for a salad that had almost nothing on it. The schnitzel is priced ok, but the Viennese and the potatoes just didn't taste like anything. Strangely enough, the staff was extremely stressed even though it wasn't that busy - there was no time to answer questions about the ingredients when ordering - the only answer was “no time, I have to go”. It's a shame that the restaurant is so cruel - through the location has great potential.

There was a strong smell, the kitchen was cold (6 p.m.). Long wait and rude service. The view and the location don't make up for that.

Nice view, almost only reserved places due to Corona. Sausage slat with fried potatoes tasted nothing special. When asked whether everything was OK, they stated that the portion was much too small. However, negative criticism is not accepted and rejected. I don't eat anything here.

Very nice view and that's almost it. Were there during tapas weeks. Especially the rude waiter was noticed negatively. Food wasn't good either.

The view of the Rhine is beautiful. I only give 2 stars for the vine house, for the view and the nice waiter. 1. The food was almost cold and too little and hardly seasoned. Unfortunately, I wasn't full. 2. much too expensive. ! And third, the parking lot at the house is impossible. The road that leads to the parking lot is also impossible. It urgently needs to be cleared, tarred. !!! My friend didn't come up the mountain with her car, the car kept rolling down. I found that very dangerous, especially because there were parked cars. There should have been at least a fence on the other side. How dangerous, is whether you are on foot or by car too close to the abyss, you are lost and very close to death. The whole way had potholes and was rocky. A nice, nice man from the restaurant, then parked the car of my friend upstairs, on a safe street. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the vine house. But the waiter was very nice.

Horrible treatment, we were passing by on our hiking route with our baby and asked to buy water for take away. The owner which was a lady refused very unpolitely and walked away from us.

We had reserved a table for 2 p.m. and had it confirmed by email. When we got there on time it was said: The table was reserved for 12 noon and now we are closing because bad weather is " Thanks, never again

Very nice view on the terrace to Rüdesheim. The color scheme in the interior needs getting used to. The food was quite good, the asparagus unfortunately overcooked.

Overall, a good price-performance ratio and a really great view can make up for some bland dishes. Nice service and fair prices for such a tourist hotspot!

Very nice place next to the Germania. Nice to sit outside, but also inside it is friendly and modern. Prices are fair, tasty wines and smaller food selection. No fine dining, but alright. Service attentive and friendly. Have reserved directly a table for the Rhine in flames

Small restaurant with a large terrace, the most beautiful is the view of the Rhine and vineyards, coffee and cake, unfortunately already a bit older tasted, priced class, is dependent on tourism. Actually, not enough quality. Friendly service.

Recently been taken under new management who locals tell me have transformed it. We had a great meal at a totally reasonable price and enjoyed the scenic views and people watching! Hope to return!

Great view and delicious food as well as drinks. The prices were OK. Very nice and fast service despite full restaurant. We will come back when we walk from the Neiderwald Monument to Rüdesheim am Rhein.

Drinks very tasty and well chilled. Staff a bit slow, but this will be normal in the onslaught. In good weather, the bear is going on here. All in all, the view is worth gold. Have been there several times and will certainly go back this year. It definitely worth it!
